New Zealand’s largest aerospace manufacturer, NZAero, is set to showcase its growing presence in the aviation sector at the Australian International Airshow this year.
The company, known globally for its expertise in contract manufacturing for the aerospace industry and the production of world-leading XSTOL aircraft, sees the event as a key opportunity to engage with international partners and expand its global footprint.
Stephen Burrows, CEO of NZAero, says their focus at the airshow will be on showcasing their capability in aerospace manufacturing, particularly as a trusted supplier of high-quality aircraft components in both commercial and defence aviation.
He says the company also manufactures and designs aircraft for 55 countries around the world, including the 750XL Utility Aircraft, 750XL-II SuperPac, CT4 Airtrainer series, E-350 Expedition and Cresco Aircraft.
“The history of NZAero dates back to World War II when a facility was established at Hamilton Airport by the US military in support of its Pacific campaign.
“Since then the facility has evolved from aircraft maintenance and modification to aircraft kit assembly to the present day aircraft design and manufacture.
“We now specialise in the manufacture of precision airframe components, and our reputation in this space has positioned us as a preferred partner for aerospace firms globally,” he says.
Burrows says that NZAero’s presence at the airshow will also facilitate discussions with key industry players, including government officials and defence representatives.
“Being part of this event allows us to engage directly with decision-makers and showcase our manufacturing capabilities on an international stage,” he says.
NZAero will exhibit alongside other leading firms on the New Zealand Defence Industry Association stand, a move Burrows sees as beneficial for strengthening relationships within the defence and aerospace sectors.
“We’re looking to expand our partnerships and attract more clients seeking high-quality, certified aerospace manufacturing,” he says.
